The UNBOUND KAMI RSQUESPANSION transforms kami into a real strength with which to deal with. Instead of limiting itself to offering a capacity and agrave to the clan that venerates them with more fervor in every Kami turn, now the kami descend on the map and help clans in their fights. Kami are no longer satisfied with receiving only the worship of the Japanese cane. They have returned to earth to influence themselves on the war of the Clane against the Shogun. With the Rising Sun Extension: Unleashed Kami the mythological gods can participate in battle like never before. This expansion comes with the new season map set mountains. Like any other set, it can be used by adding to the base season cards during game building (see page 9 of the Rising Sun rules). Even though the mountain set has been developed to allow special combinations with the unleashed Kami, it can also be used without the new rules. On the other hand, the unleashed Kami can also be combined with any other set. The Unleashed Kami have their own rules that can be used in a Rising Sun. In the basic game, players could send their shinto to the shrines to pay homage to the Kami and get their unique benefits. Now the Kami will be unleashed! They manifest and descend from the holy mountains to join the clans that prove to them their greatest honour. They change the rules in the provinces in which they are located and are temporarily considered the figure of the respective clan. Every Kami in the game starts on the board. When you send a shinto to the temple to worship her, you get control of the figure on the board by adding strength to your army for battles and harvests. You also get control of the Kami Power Card, which offers a special bonus for the province where the Kami are located. Her Shinto shows her true dedication to gain the ultimate power.
